$25 per person, Mandatory. $10 of the $25 is reserved for prize money. Based on 24 golfers gives us $240 for prize money.  $120 per half. $80 to winner, $40 to runner up. $15 of the $25 is reserved for beer and food at mid and end of season.

Skins and Par 3s

These are weekly events. Participation in both of these is optional. Entry fee for skins is $5 per week, entry fee for par 3s is $2 per week. You can opt in and opt out as you wish each week. There will be a sheet in the pro shop when you check in where you can indicate participation in the events.

If you do not indicate participation at check in time, you are considered OUT, no exceptions.

League Fees are mandatory and $25 per person. League fees must be paid by week 5. If not paid, your team gets zero points per week until paid. Both parties must be paid. No Exceptions. If you owe for league fees, and you win a skin or proxy, money owed for fees/dues will be taken from winnings before you are paid any prize money.

Rainouts

When its raining, do not call Frank, do not call Mike. Show up at the course! Majority of those present at the course will vote on whether we play. A majority of those who voted, must finish the round for the week to count. If the course is closed, obviously, we will not play.

If we are rained out, that scheduled week is added to the end of the half.

Putting out.

A gimme putt must be 2 feet or shorter from the hole or within the leather (grip) of a standard length putter. Any putt further than 2 feet must be putted. If your team does not like to concede putts, please state so at the beginning of the round.

Playing the Ghost Team

If we have an odd number of teams during a season everyone will play a Ghost Team at least once. In years past the team playing a Ghost Team was getting too many points, which gave them a huge advantage. In order to make this fair, the team scheduled to play the Ghost Team will pick a number out of a hat to determine their opponent.

After the round is complete, at least one team member needs to stick around until everyone is done to pick a number out of a hat.

If the team you are scheduled to play does not show up and did not make up the round, you will also pick a number out of a hat to determine your opponent.

Make-up Rounds

Any make-up round must be played with a league member who is not your teammate. Rounds must be played out at anytime prior to a scheduled round. Please email scores to Mike Silvey (mike.silvey88@gmail.com) for the make-up round and include the date/week number you are making up. Also be sure to indicate whose round is being made up.

Scoring, when not all members are present

  • If one person is missing, the remaining person plays both members of the opposite team with the exception that the 2 points for team low net automatically are awarded to the team with both players present.
  • If one member from each team is present, then the normal scoring doubles.
  • If one team is a complete no-show, the remaining team gets 14 points plus a bonus point for each stroke they finish under handicap. (Max 10 bonus points)

General Play Rules

  • Fluffing of lie is permitted, one club length allowed, but must remain in same cut of grass. (No fluffing from rough to fairway)
  • In wet conditions when you suspect your ball has plugged in the fairway and everyone in your foursome agrees, drop a ball where you think it was....no penalty stroke.
  • Holes 3&7: If your 1st shot goes in the pond, you must either tee again or use the drop area.
  • Hole 4: Out of bounds stakes that mark the boundary of holes 3 & 4 are to be ignored. But if you are in someone's yard or across the street, then take a penalty stroke
  • Hole 5: In the water, or lost trying to cut corner over houses. Take line of flight near point of entry. Do NOT drop on other side of lake unless your foursome agrees that you cleared the lake and went through the fairway. If cutting the corner, you must hit a provisional ball immediately after your tee shot (for pace of play)
  • Hole 12: If your 1st shot goes into woods on left, you may either tee again, use the drop area (first cut of fairway over valley).  If you think you cleared the valley but bounced in anyhow because Mr. Snappy was visiting, and your foursome agrees, you may drop near point of entry. Woods on right, drop near point of entry.
  • For the rest of the holes, drop near point of entry of hazard or OB
